Unusually shaped, multiple levels
A more open design with a trellis privacy screen
4x4 posts anchored below ground in concrete, double 2x6 beam with choice of decorative end cut, 2x6 rafters spaced 24" on center with 1x2's spaced 6 inch on center.
Angled 2x3 slats on top gives you extra shade about noon time and full shade in the afternoon. An addded outdoor fan gives an extra cooling breeze.
This multi level arbor has 6x6 porch posts to match existing residence, with double 2x10 beams and 2x8 rafters 24" o.c. and 2x2 slats above spaced 4"o.c.
This arbor/pergola was shaped only to cover the flagstone patio below. 4x4 posts with 1x2 vertical trim, double 2x10 beams, 2x6 rafters 24"o.c. and 2x2 slats 4" o.c.
This arbor/pergola has 6x6 posts with decorative caps, 2x10 beam and 2x8 rafters 18" o.c. Also pictured is a copper capped trellis/privacy screen. Customer later added a shade fabric on top of the rafters.
